Joe Delaney Memorial Park

550 N. Hazel, Haughton, LA 71037

Our local hero, Joe Delaney, was a man dedicated to family and his community. Joe Delaney was a local football star who took his God given talents to the national stage and was a star with the Kansas City Chiefs. Joe tragically passed away while trying to save children drowning in a pond. Joe was an amazing man who, although left this world too early, left an everlasting impression on the Town of Haughton as well as this nation. Before Joe passed he said his goal was to build a park for the children of this community.
